Emma Morton is a Scottish singer and composer. With an approach to making and performing music which is visceral, experimental, and personal, her work aims to examine and deconstruct myths and stigmas around mental health, sexuality, class, gender and power.
Crossing genre borders, Emma’s shifting sonic landscapes oscillate through flashes of post-punk, psychedelic, jazz, experimental pop and folk as a hypnotic backdrop for powerful Confessional storytelling.
She has collaborated on stage and in the studio with international artists KT Tunstall, Paolo Nutini, Glen Hansard, Raphael Gualazzi, DJ Molella, Alejandro Escovedo, and Gary Lucas. Her music has been featured in many soundtracks, including 2021’s USA hit documentary “Business of Birth Control” (Ricky Lake, Abby Esptein).
Members of the band have toured and recorded with international artists like Glen Hansard, Vinicio Caposella, Eddie Vedder, Andrea Bocelli, Dana Fuchs.
